What began as a modest takeaway spot on Kirkwood Hwy quickly grew into Wilmington's favorite pizzeria, celebrated for our hand-stretched dough, locally-sourced toppings, and rotating seasonal menus that capture the spirit of every time of year.

2009

The First Oven is Lit

Marco DeLuca opens a modest takeaway on Kirkwood Hwy with one wood-fired oven, three tables, and a family recipe for dough that would change Wilmington forever.

2012

Season Pizza Menu Launches

We introduce our first rotating seasonal menu — spring greens, summer tomatoes, autumn squash, winter truffles — and the concept of season pizza becomes our signature identity.

2015

Best Pizza in Delaware Award

Delaware Food & Culture magazine names Seasons Pizza the best independent pizzeria in the state. The line outside our door triples overnight.

2018

Full Dining Room Opens

We expand into the adjacent space, doubling our capacity and opening our first full sit-down dining room with 45 seats, a craft beer selection, and wine pairings.

2021

Catering & Online Ordering

We launch our catering service and online ordering platform, bringing the Seasons pizza experience to weddings, corporate events, and homes across Wilmington and beyond.
